It's aged five years, first in freshly toasted American white oak barrels, then in sun-blackened sherry casks that impart notes of cherry, plum, dates, and nutty dark chocolate. The result is a smooth whiskey perfect for toasting proud accomplishments and grand goals. Tasting Notes: Notes of cherry, plum, dates, and nutty dark chocolate Oloroso Wheat Whiskey is crafted from Ohio-grown wheat and aged for several years in lightly toasted American white oak barrels, where it develops hints of vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon. The mature wheat whiskey is then transferred to sun-drenched Oloroso Sherry casks, where it acquires rich, nutty notes of black cherry, dark chocolate, and raisins.
